Genesis Academy

Genesis Academy is our all-expenses paid, 10-day trip to Ghana, Africa. This trip is grounded in the belief that true understanding of personal identity and cultural empowerment for African American youth requires a journey back to the beginning and to their roots. Participants in this program explore and learn about African culture through food tastings, museum outings, video conferencing sessions with Ghanaian students, dance performances and other culturally enriching activities.

Over the past 3 years, we have helped place youth in over 100 jobs through our Neighborhoods United program including jobs in construction, community engagement, tech/engineering, law enforcement, and more.
